Iberican Engine

Our business is a garage. The garage is in Madrid on Alcalá Street.

The main activity of "Iberican Engine" is the reparation of the injection engines, timing belt changes, as well as cluth disk changes.

The departments of the company:

• Reception and diagnosis: the function of this area is to look for problems in the car and analyse its problems before starting to work on it. There are two workers in the reception and diagnosis area.
• Bodywork and welding: we repair the outside structure of a vehicle in this area. There are two workers. Same function for each: they distribute the stock.
• Car paint department: preparation of the vehicle for its painting-phase and painting the car afterwards. This area has two workers. One senior mechanic and one junior mechanic (helping and assisting the senior).
  
  
  Desription of a typical working day at the company:
  Schedule (working day with a long lunch break). The garage opens at eigth o´clock a.m and closes at three p.m and opens at five p.m and closes at nine p.m.
  Customers come with their car. First of all, the reception department analyses the car, performs a job order in order to facilitate the task to the mechanics.

Then, the mechanic takes the car and works on it attending and analysing the job order. Afterwards, the car is washed-up and is delivered back to the customer.
